Tourist rides by minibuses and buses. Tourism in the Republic of Croatia is one of the most important economic branches. During the tourist season, the tourism sector employs the largest part of the working age population, which ultimately affects the living standards of the population. By attracting foreign direct investment, tourism contributes to economic growth in the long run, and in the short term by balancing the balance of payments and encouraging additional employment in closely related tourism activities.

Novi Sad is located on the left bank of the Danube in Serbia, the capital of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. In addition to the narrower part and the settlement of Futog, 5-6 km away from Novi Sad, parts of the city include places on the right bank of the Danube, Srijemska Kamenica and Petrovaradin, but also 12 settlements, which are classified as the wider part of the city. Novi Sad is the administrative, economic, cultural, traffic and scientific center of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. With 231 inhabitants in the settlement of Novi Sad and 798 in the wider urban area, which in addition to Novi Sad itself includes the settlements of Petrovaradin, Srijemska Kamenica and Futog, it is the second most populous city in Serbia after Belgrade.
Novi Sad - City of love and tolerance
There used to be hate graffiti in Stefan Stefanović Street in Novi Sad, but the same part of the street has been turned into a mural. At the place where the mentioned graffiti was, members of the organization "New Point of Culture", which has been painting the city for years, decided that it now has a recognizable symbol of Novi Sad. The message of this mural says that Novi Sad is a city of love and tolerance.
Danube Park
Almost every Novi Sad love story from the XNUMXs is inextricably linked to the city promenade. Lifelong friendships were made there, secret glances were hidden and the first kisses fell. This place primarily attracts young people and students. The park is undoubtedly the liveliest in the spring when it is almost impossible to find a free bench.
Petrovaradin Fortress
The most beautiful photos of couples in love were certainly taken in the most famous place in Novi Sad, the Petrovaradin Fortress. At the clock, on a bench on stairs or bridges, wherever you stand, you can’t go wrong. Many people look for a break from walking in the nearby bars, from where they enjoy the view of Novi Sad.
Whoa
Those who prefer to walk and enjoy the romantic view of the Petrovaradin Fortress opt for the Sunny Quay. Many of them, somewhere halfway, directly opposite the fortress, stop and enjoy the view of the Danube and the bridges. The citizens of Novi Sad like to say that the best and most cultured people live in it, but also the most beautiful girls. Therefore, it is not surprising that this city has become a city of love. And the famous Serbian poet, journalist, bohemian and painter Miroslav Mika Antić explained a long time ago: “I was once asked why I am so in love with Novi Sad in high school. I couldn't answer. Because with the most beloved city, it is like with the most beloved woman: we will never be able to explain to ourselves or to others what connected us so much ”.
